Ingredients:

  • 20-25 almonds (badam)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3-4 tablespoons jaggary (or as per taste)
  • 3-4 saffron strands (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1 teaspoon rose water (optional)
  • 5-6 pistachios (for garnish, optional)

  1. Soaking and Peeling Almonds:
  • Soak almonds in warm water for 4-5 hours or overnight.
  • Peel the skin off by gently pressing them.

  • Heat milk in a pan on medium flame.
  • Add saffron strands and stir.
  • Add the badam paste and mix well to avoid lumps.
  • Stir continuously and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  • Add sugar and cardamom powder, stirring until dissolved.

  • Turn off the heat and add rose water (optional).
